Re: NCAA Men's Weekly Poll
Tue, December 5, 2006 - 12:01 PMMy Gators haven't come out of the gate so hot, but half of them are battling mono so I will cut them some slack. Meanwhile, we have the unique opportunity to be the first college to ever be national champs in both basketball and football within 5 years of each other, let alone the same year. Let the magic begin!!! -

Tue, December 5, 2006 - 2:55 PMThe odds are agains them my man. But if UCLA can't make it to the title game, I'll be rooting for Florida. -

Re: NCAA Men's Weekly Poll
Tue, December 5, 2006 - 3:13 PMYes, the Gators are underdogs come January but you know the expression "any given Sunday." I don't think we are as big of underdogs as many people think. Perhaps this is the year college athletic history is destined to be made!! By the way, thank you very much to UCLA for dumping USC. Come to think of it, UCLA has been integral to both our title runs so far this year. I like the Bruins. -

Re: NCAA Men's Weekly Poll
Tue, December 5, 2006 - 4:03 PMYes, the Bruins were good to you in Football. As to being good to you in basketball, I think they wish to avenge last year's loss to the Gators. -

Bien sur - of course they do. I only mean they were good to us in basketball because, well, we beat them when it mattered. But I suppose that is less the Bruins being good to us then the Gators being good to themselves. Nonetheless, I have decided I still like the Bruins and will cheer for them if they are not playing the Gators or Tulane Greenwave (oi vey! see not all my college teams are so good in sports - Greenwave suck - can't win em all, eh?) -
